Her Investing Her Investing

New Chapter

It’s been a while since I last published any interviews. Time has a way of slipping past us - quietly, then all at once. Life moves fast, sometimes too fast, and in the whirlwind of change, creative expressions like writing can easily fall by the wayside.

At the beginning of 2024, I took a leap of faith and stepped away from the structured world of M&A into the unpredictable, yet exciting terrain of venture investing. It wasn’t an easy pivot. It meant starting over in many ways - relearning how to think, how to evaluate, how to build. It meant embracing uncertainty with open arms.

Since then, my life has revolved around hustling, adapting, growing, learning, and perhaps most importantly - making mistakes. Some small, others humbling. But in each of them, I’ve found an invitation to become more resilient, more curious, and more attuned to the deeper currents guiding my work and life.

One thing that’s become clear: personal growth isn’t optional. It’s essential. The world doesn’t pause to give us time to catch up. If we’re not consciously evolving, we’re unconsciously standing still. And I’ve realized that the internal work - the uncomfortable, soul-stretching kind - is what enables us to make better decisions, build stronger relationships, and live more meaningfully.

More than ever, I’m learning that it’s not about arriving at some definitive destination. There’s no singular “aha” moment that unlocks it all. Instead, the journey itself - the messy, beautiful, nonlinear path - is the reward. It’s where we become who we’re meant to be. It’s where the transformation lives.

Life is short. In its brevity, I’ve come to believe that what matters isn’t the magnitude of what we do, but the intention behind it. Whether it’s backing a founder with a bold idea, mentoring someone just starting out, or simply showing up with kindness and compassion on a hard day - each act is a ripple. We don’t always see where those ripples go, but they matter. They change things.

So as I settle into this chapter - and slowly return to sharing more - I carry with me a simple reminder: make an impact. It doesn’t have to be loud or sweeping. It just has to be authentic.
